This campground is Big Rig Friendly with beautiful wooded campsites that are perfect for the family. We offer pull-through RV sites as well as back-in sites with room for a campfire. The tent sites are spectacular. Just ask our return campers. We have a boat launch area approximately 12 miles from the park so you can enjoy your days on the lake. As well as the on-site amenities listed above we also have 3-wheel bikes, basketball, ping-pong tables, shuffleboard, Bingo, a 50's style walk-up window restaurant, a heated pool and so much more.
Our fun and friendly staff will give you directions to where the fish are biting and you won't even need a boat to get there. As well, our staff can provide information to show you where the hiking trails are located, the swimming holes are hidden and where to explore the history and lore of the Trinity Alps. KOA makes Trinity Lake camping an unforgettable experience. No other Trinity Lake campground provides you with a heated pool, propane and gasoline sales, laundry facilities, an on-site restaurant, an on-site full service store, and spectacular lodges. Ready to call it a night . . . or would you like to see an outdoor movie, see a skit, enjoy karaoke - singing and listening or sitting by a campfire and toasting marshmallows? The wonderful national forest setting is perfect to enjoy family camping at its best. Looking to expand cultural opportunities? Visit nearby old Trinity Center, California or historic Weaverville, California and visit the Jake Jackson Museum to see rare firearms, paintings, books and artifacts from Trinity County's early days. You can also visit the Weaverville Joss House State Historic Park, the oldest continually-used Chinese temple in California, or visit one of the many galleries, coffeehouses and new performing arts center. Don't miss out on the Farmers' Market each Wednesday afternoon in downtown Weaverville.
